Memorial Day Weekend
Went to a party at one of my new co-worker's houses. It was fun and nice to be included in a gathering of a group of well established friends. I'm so grateful to have found this job - I'm loving it so far, but finding it a little difficult to get into the groove of working full time. I'm finding myself continuously exhausted. I'm sure I'll get revitalized soon enough!

Trying to bake bread
Well, here it is: BREAD!!! Its my second attempt at baking bread. The first time, it didn't rise, but the flavor was great - then Alysa and I got a lesson from Anne Elwell so I thought I'd try again. This time it did rise, but there's not much flavor...more salt and honey next time - Anne had a recipe, but she measured with her hands, and added a little extra here and there - no way to keep up with the ingredients - plus you have to factor in the humidity or lack of and just add stuff until it feels right!!! Anyway - it's definitely progress - at least it looks like real bread this time :)
